Flux Donation Totals for 15-16 FY

Thought you might all be curious about the volume of donations we received last year financial year.

This is all in our financial disclosure which will be released in Feb next year.

Total sum of donations is $210,321.26 according to my spreadsheet, and $185,121.26 of that was from ExO One PTY LTD (aka The Flux Startup Pty Ltd, aka SOCCOS Pty Ltd). Besides a small ($200) donation from myself personally there were two other donors.

For those who missed our announcement in June, we have an associated startup making the voting tech; the idea being that we can use venture capital today to partial fuel the political movement and cover software development, and a return will be made later when the voting software is licensed to nation-states (through our Democracy as a Service model). That startup is ExO One.

Keep in mind the above donations are just up to June 30th inclusive, and ExO One (at the time The Flux Startup) has donated 30-40k more since then. (IE in July, for the most part)

Thanks for sharing max. Just to confirm were the two other donors and yourself combined the $185121 or the whole $210321. I only ask because I noticed there doesn't seem to be any donate now kind of page on our site, and I'm not sure wether you accept donations or not. Sorry if thats a stupid question to ask a political party

We'll be adding a donation button to the website soon (you can actually do this now at paypal.me/voteflux if you want - though receipts aren't automated yet).

We can, as a political party we can accept donations like a not-for-profit. Technically we are not-for-profit, but we don't have a registration number or any sort of incorporation like other NFPs, so it makes it a bit weird. We'll be registering something like an incorporated association soon to do all that side of things (and it gives us numbers and stuff to 'prove' we're a NFP).
